Hello everybody, it's been a very very long time since I last uploaded something. The reason is that I'm studying hard for my three years bachelor's degree, so I had to set apart my passion for photography for a while. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I decided to take a break and go for one of my hikes, making the most of the wonderful weather.

This amazing place is one of my favorite spots in the Dolomites. It is the Lago di Sorapis (1926 m of altitude) on Mount Sorapis (not really on the top), which is part of Dolomiti Ampezzane.

The colors in this shot are ver little retouched, as I do in most of my photos. I usually add some sharpening and some contrast with shadows and highlights.

Actually, the most spectacular thing in this lake, and this is why I love it, is the color itself, which makes it unique and enchanting, making you want to admire it all day long. Also, this lake is plunged into nature and depending on the day time the whole scene changes dramatically its colors and shades. It's a wondrous sight which everyone should admire at least one time in life.

Have a good time. I've been in a hurry to submit and share this because is soooo beautiful. Don't know when I'll find some time to submit some other highlights from that day's set.
